I was thinking of getting better less restrictive mufflers for my TL. I have headers and don't want to spend a lot and just get a whole new catback system. I want little more power, better sound at a good price. How do these look: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33636
Is there any recommendations on mufflers in regards to quality, fitment, price, gain and sound?

 

OBX is the same outfit that make the junk headers. Also, any universal muffler will mean you have to spend money at a muffler shop having custom work done to get them mounted, e.g., hangers, connections, etc. Whether you install good mufflers like Magnaflows or ebay junkers, the cost to install will be the same, so why not go with Magnaflows?

 

i was looking at those earlier today. I'd suggest jus get some borla, magnaflow, or flowmaster mufflers. I dunno how hard it is to construct good mufflers. I know headers u have to have good durability and welding, and i assume the same for headers, but not sure how many ppl jus bought off ebay. They look fine to me, and they come with a silencer. I'd go for it, and hey, if u dont like it, only 60 bux shipped per muffler, thats really nothing.
