I just got a notice in the mail for my OPDS sensor. They extended the warrany on this sensor for 10 years or 150,000(of course which ever comes first). Some of you may already know that this sensor if faulty may cause the SRS light to come on. Mine has been on for about a month or so. I just got the warranty extension in the mail yesterday so hopefully that will fix my problem. I wanted to post this before anymore of you go out and pay for something that could possibly be fix for free. I will update this after I take my car in Saturday.

I took my car in today and guess what. I had a bad sensor in the drivers seat and a bad brain or something like that.. I have to look at the paper. But they gave me a 05 TSX fully loaded so that was fun while I had to wait. I still havent picked up my car but I will get it in the morning.. Oh yea.. It was coverd in the warranty.. Easiest 800 dollars I ever spent.

I'm pretty sure I got it in the mail yesterday too.. I haven't opened it.. it did say recall information or product extension information, on the letter I just havent had the chance to open it..

what year and models are the recalls for? more information for everyone else.

Well i have a 00 TL so I would think it would be for the 2nd Gen TL's. I got my car back today and they replaced The OPDS sensor in the drivers seat and the OPDS System Brain. So YAY for warranties...

Got mine in the mail ... will call to see when I can make an appointment to get mine replaced ... also do a Type-2 service since I'm at 108,000km (and some change).

Is your SRS light on?? Thats why I took mine in.
