I cleaned up the oil & removed the sooty deposits.
Is it ok to reuse the gasket?
Not sure on the bolt torque.
I don't have a service manual yet, difficult to get one.

Did you remove the intake completly and clean out the ports?
Yes reuse the metal gasket
Its like 11ftlbs (i dont have my manual here to give an exact)

Cleaner??? the first pic is oil and carbon, i used cleaner on that. The other 2 pics is the Polishing i did to the rough cast aluminum. That required a few hrs of sanding with the grinder and dremel

Wow, you made that manifold look brand new.
I just removed the top cover plate. Maybe when the weather warms up
i'll remove the intake.
I use a shop vac to pick up the loose carbon. And i used Brakleen for that
stubborn stuff.

to just remove and clean a hr a half or less. To P&P like in teh 2nd pics a whole packer game and part of the 2nd header game

Dont get the lower 4 pics confused with the upper ones. They are 2 completely different things. the upper ones in most TLs are needed every 60k or so, many even less. Carbon builds up due to the design.
