When i turn on the windsheild defogger it says ac on, i know it blends ac into the airflow..when i press the ac button it says ac off. Does it actually turn the ac off or it just says that because cant tell the difference

 

The AC is supposed to come on when you use the Defrost. Yes when you press teh ac off button it turns it off.
