ohh man....need tips
being one handed -i cant get the daam shift knob off, ive used a leather belt for added torque but the daam thing broke the belt no joke my wife is gonna be pissed. any other ideas folks?????? im feeling pretty weak right now and ive got twice the strength i used to have in my laft hand -- i dont want to resort to the dremel..pls help
I wrapped the knob with a towel and then used a pair of vice grips just tight enough so they wouldn't slip. I also covered the jaws with some electrician's tape. It came off after a little effort and no damage to the knob. The vice grips will give you more leverage.
