when you arm and disarm the factory keyless entry system, the front and rear parking lights will flash. Does anyone know how to change or have done it, to make the signal lights to flash instead?

 

Um, the signal lights and the parking lights are the same, unless you want the rear turn signals to flash instead of the rear brake lights.

 

the bulb is the same, but inside the buld there is 2 things (don't know what they are called) Good question, but I don't think there is a way, it would be cool if there was one.

 

i thought by re-wiring the system or using some kind of relay might work to have it changed. i am sure i have seen someone got it done. it might not be a big deal, but i think its kinda cool at least its a little different...

 

Does anybody know how to make the doors lock automatically when you start the ignition and/or unlock automatically when you turn the car off?

I've been wanting this feature since day one, but nobody has found a way to do it yet. I should be getting my Helm's manual in sometime this week, and when I do, I'm going to figure out how to do this and will let you all know.

 

It's not a good idea to unlock automatically when you turn off the car. When you're in a bad neighbourhood, you want to keep your car's doors locked up at all times.

 

my alarm automatically locks the doors when i start the car and when i turn off the ignition it unlocks the doors... doesn't ur alarms do that???

 

We have the stock factory alarms that don't do this, thus we want to incorporate this feature.

 

anyone might have source to the factory diagram layout for our remote keyless entry?
