Hi guys,

It's really cold today and when I started my car with the starter, for about 3 seconds when the car was initially cranking and then began to rev it gave off this howl. Is this common? I don't plug my car in because I have an Optima Red top and usually when I start it in the cold it starts even better and that just makes me feel good lol, any recommendations?

Also after the acura dealership did a power steering fluid flush/change, I've noticed that if I completely grill the wheel (Extreme/left right) it makes a very weird cat's howl sound,any easy fix for this?

i get a wierd sound too... sounds like "vooom vooom vooom" does it only if da car is cold.... i got a type s and that noise worries me to i t0ok it to the dealer they didnt find the problem.... but whatever so i cant give u an answer lol

had the same problem. Dealership changed power steering pump, pulley and belt/belt tensioner.

Noises like that are usually belt related- especially when they just worked on that area
Stop turning the steering to full lock- its hard on the system overall

^ especially when its just started and very cold out as many of the parts are needing to warm up and distribute fluid to the necessary parts
