OBX headers, Alpine mp3 changer, or tint?

Ok so here's the deal:
I've come across about $300 and I want to buy something for my car. I can't decide which one to get so someone help me out..
Headers - would make me about as fast as I was before I put 18's on my car, so that would be pointless I think, and it may also cause me to want to race more often which isn't good.

Alpine Mp3 changer - would solve the problem of having to wait 2 hours for the s*itty stock cd player to find a track on any burned cd. (this is what was leaning toward)

Tint - I would get 35% all around, which is illegal in VA so this may result in getting pulled over. This is the cheapest option so maybe I could save the rest for gas or somethin.

I was also thinking about Comptech sways or something but I don't think I really need those right now.

help

and alpin cd changer would be so much better with an alpine ainet capable headunit..thtas like one of the best features so you dont need the seperate remote....so i say wait until you can get both before you get the changer...

tint makes such a big difference in looks...ive got 20% all aorouind...anyhting in fornt is illegal in nj...but i havent had problems...its more strict in VA i hear?

obx sounds like it would be the most fun...i say go with that

changer ... you'll notice it and use it everyday. what is illegal about the tint in VA? I have 37% all the way around on a SSM in TeXaS.

good headers cost more than 300 (dont forget installation cost also).

Tints are cool to improve the look of the car, CD Changer is something I would get because you will be using it all the time.

I would save the 300 and accumulate it to about 500, get the tints and the cd changer together. The headers can wait. (we are talking about milliseconds in gain if adding to stock)

the header can be found for a little over 300, and the hp gains are noticable

Since you have a TL-P, I wouldn't mess with the headers as a first item. I would go with the changer. I went with the Alpine CHA-S634 and used a HONIL to tie into the head end unit. I had the same problem with the stock CD player.

How do you like the Alpine CD changer? Do 6 discs suffice? Was it difficult to install? Let me know your experience! Thanks

I love the changer. I find the 6 disc changer sufficient - especially in MP3's. Installation was fairly easy. Toughest part was plugging in the converter into the back of the head end unit. It can be done without pulling the unit out with a little patience. I mounted mine in the trunk. Since I don't have Navi in my 99, I went to the dealer and bought a Navi bracket and just mounted the changer in there. Very clean install. Cable was easy to run also. Keeps the stock unit with some additional functionality.

Install Help

Hope this helps.
