obx headers

obx headers

what are the cons of gettingn teh obx headers over the comptechs?

also....whats a good place for me to get parts cheap for my TL....or is this sight good?....im trying to save some money thanx

I believe that the OBX headers some say are bad qualilty and stuff, such as bad welding and It is made of stainless steel so It can rust. I think the gains from both obx and comptech are similar yet comptech is a little better. a place near me in chicago sells them for like 3-400 and they said that they will replace it for 3 years if it rusts.

:cop: Can you say oxymoron? I wouldn't listen to this guy if I was you njtls. His information is a bit off and contradictory. I would just do a search on the subject just to be safe.

P.S.
Yes I've been involved in many OBX debates...yes I do have them myself...and yes I would report any problems if I ever run into them, but until it comes, I have yet to say anything negative about them. Oh, and I paid a total of $400 INSTALLED.

the whole STAINLESS part of stainless steel means its steel that doesnt rust

Look at bigman...he bought his for less. I paid $305 for them (no tax) from a private distributor around my local area, then paid an additional $95 for the install. I was lucky and found a shop that had tons of experience installing OBX headers on CLS/TLS and Accords so my install went without any problems.

I did the install my self with my buddys help. We pounded though the project in 1.5 hours. The install was fairly easy with a small exception that the headers closest to the firewall are tight as hell to reach.
