Hey guys.. as I was just rinsing my car today ... after this crappy snow storm.. .. I noticed that my passenger front tire was missing a nut/bolt. And here is the best part, it wasn't just a regular nut/bolt but it was the wheel lock!!

I mean the last time it was removed was from Mavis, when they were doing my tire rotation, and I know those f'n assssess must have not put it on correctly as it has fallen off now.

So what do I do now?? How do I replace that bolt now? Can I just buy one .. which I highly doubt as they are unique in every package... or do I have to buy a whole new set of wheel locks?? I hope I dont .cuz in that case.. I might just buy one regular nut/bolt and call it a day.. since all the other three wheels have the locks on them?

Looks like you can not replace the lock and get a regular nut or buy a new set of wheel locks....

I think if u get a replacement for them. Ask the dealer. I got my tires rotated at ValleyStream and they didnt ask for my wheel lock. I saw them take a huge black box out and then he tried a few and then he got it off.

Update: THe dealer said that.. I have to replace all 4. Sux but, I went back to MAVIS and *****ed.. and they are getting me a wheel lock set, just not the ACURA ones, but I guess I'll have to settle. Also I might be interested in buying the ones from another member if the price is right and if he PM's me cuz his box is full.

 

Sorry about that Desi...mailbox is un-full..and yes, they are the Acura OEM wheel locks. Opened but never installed because there were a set already installed on my '03 TL-S+I found another set in the trunk.

BTW ... I hope they aren't just the regular lug nuts. Because I also opened my trunk one day and foudn wheel locks in the trunk opened, but then I realized the dealer put the locks on for me and put the original 4 lugs back in the package.
