I'm gonna do something with my tails, haven't decided yet. i won't pay for the inspires tho, too expensive just for tails. back in the day people would get the paint from hobby stores, and spray paint the tail lights red. if you are careful, you can do a good job.

Here is the idea :
The spray tint works really well if you do it properly. Simple steps:
1) Take the lights off the car
2) Masking tape around everything you don't want painted
3) Spray from atleast a foot away, or else it will run.
4) Do 3 or 4 coats to make sure it is all even and covered.
5) Let dry for a good 6 hours atleast before you put them back on your car.
And one more thing. Make sure the lights are clean before you paint them. Not very smart to paint them when they're dirty. And make sure there isn't too much dust in the room where you are painting them. Dust particles form bumps in the paint, making it look ugly.
"Don't use the spray" unless you know how to spray. it's not as easy as it sounds. you have to spray it so that both tail lights are the same darkness, which is pretty difficult.
SO I will reccomend just do it by
taking the lights out and then tape the sides. Some stores carry them, it's very cheap.

I bought some for my Accord, it was really hard to match because the Accord has 4 pieces to spray, and the corners were difficult to spray around.
I also got that peelable tint spray. It's lasted for over a year with no degradation, but was expensive. $25 for a tiny can....
Anyone know where to get this stuff cheaper?
