NOS question

I'm planning to run a Zex Dry Kit. What kind of plugs do i need? I currently have Denso Iridium Plugs. Is that ok? I heard platniums are no good with NOS. How about Iridiums?

Are you running the same system? Got a purge? Is a purge necessary for Dry kit?

yea same exact system, do you have a premium or type s?... purge isnt really a necessity, its more to kinda show off. the real purpos of a purge is to clear up the lines when your about to nos and you just finished installing the bottle back on it.

Purge is for showing off, the cool thing is it plays a pretty big part in clearing the lines and sending pure N02 to the fuel. Why are you getting a dry kit. Go with the wet way more balanced and especially better for a TL.

I'm getting the dry kit cause its the easiest to install. And I dont know if I want to mess with the fuel line.

I've read some where that the dry causes problem, How can that happen when NOS is not flammable. But with wet, you're mixing nos and fuel together.

dont mess with nitrous then if thats the only reason you are getting a dry kit .. dry kit is much easier for nitrous detonation and can damage your motor alot easier

if cheap is anywhere near the word "nitrous" not nawssssss/nos then you shouldnt be doing this ... you should have someone professionally install it ... its one of those things that its better to pay to have it done by a proffessional then to attempt it yourself ... a wet kit really isnt much harder to install

also a zex kit really isnt that great ... they have issues with the programmoing in there "box" .. my friends have run it on various cars and ive talked to various shops and they all say nitrix is a much better kit ... if you shoot a 75 shot on a zex kit its like shooting a 35 shot with the same extent of a 75

With wet system, sometimes fuel doesn't get vaporized during delivery and pools up in the intake. With a spark at the wrong time in the wrong place, you will have a nice fireworks show.

With dry system, you don't have that problem, but if you are not careful, you could lean out the engine too much, and it's a kaboom.

I'm a firm believer in wet system -- it's more balanced and safer on the engine.

lol honestly whats th e probability of having fuel pool up in the intake ... a. the filter will sponge it up to an extent, b. it will leak out, or c. it will be sucked up by the intake ...i honestly have never heard of that unless you spray and turn your car off in the middle of spraying(hence stopping the sucking of the fuel/nitrous mixture ...) then thats the only way i could see something happening.... but whos stupid enough to do that lol

It's good to have the denso iridiums but with my kit i use a 1 step colder plug. It a lot safer and recommended. You don't want that iridium to be a glow plug.
