Noobs only

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7_RsnD8hAU

Just found a useful video for those of use that have never changed our ATF. He used to work at an Acura dealership, and talks some nonsense about a flush tool at the end. Either way, hope it helps fellow novices.

This is probably the best way to do it. (minus using dexron, and for the 00-03 guys you have to grab the line that the oiljet is hooked into)

Ok, I see. So you pull the oil jet kit out, and you feed that line into the trash can (or whatever).

Then you fill the ATF into the hole that the oil jet kit was originally inserted into? Also, will it fill in just as fast as it drains out?

Well according to fatty's video method, you wouldn't even need to take off the drain plug. Just the fill bolt if you have an 00-03. Or the trans cooler lines if you have a 99.

do you see a "A" after the "F" and before "S" in my name

And if you watch the vid, he does drain the trans first. Then fills it with 3 fresh. Not sure why and im not sure it would be needed if you are just pouring all the new stuff in But this method is getting all new fluid in the trans and isnt using pressure to force the old out.
