Hi fellow tl-ers!

Ive gone to the mirageforums.net website and got no response, so i try my luck here!

Here goes...

I have a 99 Mitsu Mirage 4 dr sedan... lots of miles on it, When i drive my car, and when i hit 40-60 the car starts vibrating. Not so much when the engines cold i guess, i could really feel it after 10 miles of driving it (engine warms up). Im thinking Engine mount? Alignment problem? 3rd gear issue? Ive checked the CV boot and it looks fine (no tears or cracks), and rebalanced the tires. Any input regarding the issue would really help. Thanks a lot!

 

when I drive with high MPHs, the steering wheel vibrates, but I fixed it by changing the front rotors and pads. This WILL fix it cause you have already eliminated all other choices and the 3rd gear deal, thats prolly not it. Everyone will tell you rotors are warped. And 01TL4TL will tell you to pour Seafoam on the rotors to fix your vibration..(JUST KIDDING 01tl)

3.2 get your facts straight dude!!!

SOAKING the brake rotors overnight in seafoam in a 3 gallon bucket pointed magnetic North is what makes for better brakes, adds 147!!! HP, reduces aero drag, and lets the neighbors know you have mental probs so they dont bother you anymore!
remember- that part number again is, ToTaL BS101
