nology hot wires

I noticed that Nology does not make a set of "hot wires" for the Acura TL...I was wondering what people thought of these wires...my RSX has them, and they make like a 6hp and 3ft/lb gaings...(3 dyno's have said so). Anyway, They're like 200 bucks or so...they're always willing to expand their product line, they just need to see interest. Are people interested? http://www.nology.com/hot.html

I concur with Str8acura.

The TL's spark plug wires are as good as they can get.

The sparkplug wires on the 99-03 TL don't really need to be upgraded. For cars that have an older ignition system where there is a distributor, etc., the sparkplug (hotwires) do work. This is because of the large amount of power being sent through the wires from the distributor and coil all the way to the plugs. In our current generation TL, the coils are directly on the plugs. In this setup, there is very little power being sent through the sparkplug wires.

Our TLs have direct ignition. There are 6 coils, each ontop of the sparkplugs. We do not have any ignition wires to replace or upgrade.

that is how mine works also. What they do is unplug the harness, switch it out w/ an addapter...add their magic...and then go through your coil, into their spark plug wire...onto your spark plug. Pretty much their magic is a capacitor. It helps give a stronger spark. RSX's have direct ignition also as I stated...their products are true and tested...

I had Nology wires when they first came out. It was for my 1989 Acura Integra. It didn't work, it made my engine light come on. It basically was sending error message to one of the sensors and the engine would die at stop lights and ran rough.
