I have some bald ass tires and even if i floor with the tcs on or off it barley makes a chirp. I even brake torque it and launch it sometimes and its still the same,is the torque really that weak, or just my car? Ah well I shall see how week this sunday.

Must be your car. With the TCS off, my car sounds like Dino from the Flintstones when it peels out. Very loud.

Oh yeah, my tires are stock and have very little tread left on them too. Still very noisy when TCS off.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but would you want your wheels not to spin so that you can get better traction to get a better start, hence to go faster???

If you really want them to make them spin, I suggest some WD-40 on the tread. Somebody has already used to to get some gunk off their car, it can be used many ways...

you guys are lucky you can't lay rubber at 6,200 feet unless you are on gravel or snow. i drove a new TL in texas for a test drive once and i was amazed that you could lay rubber so easy.

The TCS is always on by default ...unless you press the TCS button and switch it off.....if you switch the TCS off, you can see the "TCS" light indicator on your dashboard...
