new tint problem

new tint problem

i went to a tint shop today... did dark in the back, medium in the front...

anyway, i saw this "riced" up civic with nos, GSR engine, AEM CAI, about 6 subs in the back seats, mercedes lights in the back, nice looking wheels....

they are detailing it for fast and furious 2...

anyhow,,

that shop messed up my tint... there is faint "bubble" like blemishes on my tint from INSIDE... i cant smear them off, i cant sqeeze the air out.... i am going tomorrow for a fix, but is there something i dont know about?

That is normal. If the bubbles are like smaller than your pinky's finger nail, you should be fine. They will "cure" as time goes on. If there is alot of them, then the tint place needs to use their squeegy like tool and get rid of as much as they can.

Small bubbles are normal for a couple of days. If they last more than that take it back.

I think it lasts a little more than a couple of days...it took my tint like atleast a week or two before all the bubbles were gone.

The tint people tell you that you can open your windows after a couple of days so I cant see the glue not being dried after a couple of weeks. I had my car tinted like three days ago and all the bubbles are already gone.

Well I guess it comes down to the tinting place that does your tinting.

ah i see...

well i saw some bubles disapear.. so lets hope it just takes time...
