38K and Trannie #1 crapped out. Also having warped rotors fixed along with rattle in sunroof.

Every Acura curse befell my car at one time.

WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?

Welcome aboard! At least now...for a while...you won't have to worry about your tranny.

Yes, welcome indeed. What did you do to deserve this? You bought an Acura!

I am continuing to fight it out with Acura. This car is the worst I've ever owned.

The GM of my dealership told me last week that my "expectations are just too high."

Right. Apparently expecting that a transmission will last longer than a set of tires is unreasonable. Expecting that I will be able to drive this so-called luxury car without having it buck and surge as the transmission slips is just asking too much.

My expectations are just too high. That, my friends, is the line of the year. And it's only March!

LOL, I can't believe that your dealer actually told you that...that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I hope you actually told them that quote about expecting a tranny to last longer a set of tires is unreasonable....that's a quality comeback, not to mention completely true!

Are they giving you a new tranny or a refurbished one?

I did tell them that. It is a total joke. Acura should fold up and start making shoes or something instead. The only thing worse than the quality of this car is the nature of their response to the problem. These guys are pathetic.

New thankfully. Should be back in a week. Love the quote about expectations being too high.

We did buy Acura and not Kia, right?

Actually, I also made reference to maybe this experience would be consistent with realistic expectations if I had bought a Kia!
