my low beam jus went out. what bulb can i get that is cheap and shows off the real good xenon blue color for my 2002 tl type s

 

use the search function...8ks will give u blue

 

blue would be 8k like he said... but u should go w/ 5k or maybe even 6k tops imo

 

kaixen are popular at about 100$ per pair

stock color was 4300k,
5000 is more blue looking and a good choice
6000 is more blue with less white on the ground- reducing usefullness
8000 is for show use only- you cant see squat with them and they look purple to cops

 

5000k ftw imo.

 

 

<-------- (MY Avatar is 6k Lows and Fogs) 6K has a lil blueish to them when looking at the headlight, but are white when you see them on the road. 6K reflects the road signs and markers pretty good from far. 6K is prolly the highest anyone should go.

 

i can see perfectly fine with 8ks...every1 up here uses 8ks...there r slight colour differences with different manufactures...but for the most part all of my 8k bulbs r a nice blue colour...no cop has ever pulled me or any1 i know over at nite time for 8ks

i got my bulbs for $80...had them for 2yrs now...german...ceramic core

 

get 6000k, and dont spend too much on the bulbs... i got mine off ebay for under $25 and they've been great so far...i've had em for more than a year.

 

Get the stock bulbs. 6000 and 8000 are not as bright. I bought mine (Philips) on ebay for $87.00

 

I got 8000K hids for 35 dollars from hidextra. I dont know if its just mine, but there is not even that much blue in them, and I can see just fine with them
