my name is danny im 23 from columbus ohio i enjoy car's and motorcycle's i own a 92 accord and 2004 gsxr 750 streched and lowerd im looking to buy a acura tl type s soon and wanna know more about it and hopefully find the one im looking for shorty.... if anyone can let me know what the differents between the tl and type s that would be good....and can the 99-01 look just as good as the 02-03

 

SEARCH! There are a milion threads about this.

1) You can do the a front end swap from a 99 to an 01. All u need is headlights, hood, bumper, and grill. Maybe fenders too. Not worth it imho.

2) Type S has a faster motor (260 vs 225) with a higher redline. Different suspension tuning. And a tighter steering wheel with torque sensitive variable assist. Also has sportier seats and different trim in the doors and console.

Theres more im too lazy to think.

 

so im just better off buying a type s period...lol? i want one with navi but if no i can always install one i seen the tread about that it looks painfull...lol and thanks for the reply...

the black civic i just sold not long ago miss it but thats my bike black and sliver then got it painted all black couple months ago and thats he 92 gold accord believe it or not them pixs were takin with my cell phone..lol

lmaooo wtf?? that's the EXACT accord i used to have w/ the clear corners and everything (minus the rims) but danggg thats crazy, not very often i see that color too, dang nice bike too, thats what i plan on getting next... hopefully
and for the black market, click the TL tab at the top and scroll down near the bottom and you'll see "the black market" click it and voila

 

that accord begs for a drop like no other..

 

i bought it from a old man i seen the car when i was hunting one year come back the next to hunt seen it again i said i want that car...lol because i had a 1990 accord lx and bleww it up and liked it so i ask the guy if he was selling it he said yeah but it needs cams i said cams? he said yeah that car has two cams i was like no only one he argued with me about it and said give me what i paid for it it's urs and that wuz 600...the cam gear was broke off at the timming belt so i took the head off got a new one and did the whole tune up water pump head gasket timming belt plus....everything change oil new battary fired her up and been driving her since got her at 165,000 miles now she has 217,000....lol car runs like a champ...and thanks for the help...i was going to do a h22 swap at one time and figured id not waste the money

ur not lying...lol iv been wanting to i was going to use the springs from my old car and found out there broke...and i still neve got a chance to buy some to lazy...i guess..
