New guy, say hello.

Hello guys, I had my TL for few months now and decided to join this forum. I usually had European and American cars, so Acura was a change. I moved to AZ for a job, and found a great deal on this 03 TL-S. It has 167k miles on the clock and navigation. I ran at the track a few times, my latest slips from the last Friday are below.

After I got the car, I did the full tune up. Oil, filters, tranny fluid, spark plugs, checked the t-belt.

As far as plans for it. Car is an AZ car so sun did hurt the pain, and previous owners loved the curbs. I am thinking of going Darth Vader on it. Repaint the wheels black, tint it up, and give it black paint.

Thanks everyone.

I thought it was one of those aftermarket wood trim kits. Love the grey, it's so much more subdued than my overly shiny, obviously fake trim.

CL wheels are 7 inches wide rather than 6.5, and the spokes are shaped differently and more thick.

Thanks everyone. And yes, I am aware of the trans issue. When I bought the car on Friday back in November, on Saturday I decided to drive to Tuscon PIMA museum. Speed limit is 75, I stayed at 90 for about 50 miles. At one point I started to pass an older camaro, "he is reving his engine hard I though". It wasn't him, I was in D5 bouncing from the rev limited at 90.

Car in Neutral, coasted to the stop. ATF everywhere under the car, and for unknown amount of distance back.

Tow distance and charge was amazing. 100 miles even to my house.

I went to walmart, got the BarsLeak 2 piece trans fluid. Drained what was left, refilled it with barsleak+honda fluid. It lived and as you can see visited the track just fine.

That probably wasnt a Leak, Some aftermarket Oil tend to Puke themselfs out of our Tranny check the top of your tranny just below the intake tube there is the tranny breath hole see if there isnt an excess of Oil there.

DONT USE ADDITIVES IN OUR TRANNY!!!
Anyway It may work for a While but must have alot of Clutch damage, It will go out sooner than later.

My first tranny also Puked at Highway that was with Amsoil ATF, Changed to Honda Z1 Never Looked back. Now DW-1.
