New to the game

Wassup yall, I just picked up a 2000 TL with 20k miles. Been reading these forums lately and was impressed by the amount of knowledge within. Because of these forums I already made my own custom grill and look forward to making more mods. Thanks in advance.

a 2000 TL with 20 thousand miles?
Do you mean 120 thousand, or was your dash replaced?

Congrats on the TL and welcome to Acurazine. 20k on a '00...just hope Grandpa took it in for regular servicing based on time and not mileage.

Damn only 20k on it, that's INSANE. My 02 had 38k on it when I bought it. From my Grandfather as well. They just bought a new 07 toyota avalon xl. I would recommend changing out your brake fluid, as it need done every 3yrs independent of mileage. It can build up moisture and then expand cracking the brake lines. Anyhow, awesome find and welcome on board, I'm kinda new hear myself.

I was just wondering where's the best place to get the OEM body kit? I checked with the Acura dealership and they're charging like a grand for the entire kit not including install.

Welcome and wow...20k! Anyways, the OEM lip kit is pretty expensive to start out with. You can search around and try to find a place that sell is for a decent price. Or, you can do what i'm doing...buying it peice by peice from random places. Search ebay cause they were selling front lip and the sideskirts for pretty decent price. If you get it from ebay you might have to repaint those. Good luck with your search..
