New Exhaust

I'm the proud owner of a new APEXi Catback WORLD SPORT EXHAUST! It looks and sounds awesome. Thanks to Mongolian for his feedback. Know what the best part is? I found it on Ebay, brand new for $355! Such a deal!

You have to keep your eyes on Ebay. I check it all the time. The seller is ckremernimrod1. Right now he doesn't have any. I've been looking since I got my TL earlier this year and it's the first system I've seen. I'll post some pics maybe tomorrow.

Is the Apexi a direct bolt on or did you have to do any modification?

Easy installation for anybody. Like I said earlier, just have a 14mm 6 point socket for the bolts. I installed mine all by myself and just had my wife hold and line up the tips when I torqued everything up. Half an hour job after the old stuff is off. See pics at link below.

Dave, it looks like you have the wings west kit on your ride and the exhaust sits just a little lower than the rear addon. With the world sports the exhaust pipe sits a little lower on the can than a normal muffler. Can you tell me if this is because the muffler itself sits a little higher and the exhaust pipe has to mount lower to compensate? The reason why i ask is because i have a stock 00'tl kit and if the pipe sits lower will there be a large gap? Thanks, PDX

I think it would be alright. The tips are in the middle of the muffler. I tightened everything up so it would just miss my openings. I have no squeaks rattles or anything. Hope that helps..
