Neuspeed Sway Bars - Yea or Nah?

I've read a lot of posts on sway bars, some really old and some recent. I just ordered Neuspeed front and rear sway bars plus the front upper tie bar - all for $415 shipped. Based on the older threads, Neuspeed sucks. Should I send them back and look for something better than what came on my 02 TLS?

the neuspeed sways are good... but thats only if the rear one is the race one which they dont make anymore. so you probably got the regular ones. if so, you would of been better off with the comptech or eibach sway bars.

I recently installed comptec bars on my 2003 tl-s. If I was to do it again, I would just do the rear. Noticed the biggest improvement with the rear. Also, make sure to go the extra mile on tighting the end-links.

If not, you might experencing a 'thumping' sound from underneath the car. As suggested from a member on this site. Mine ended up being a little less then a 1/4 turn lose. No more noise and whole lot more cornering spped now. 8)

I have the neuspeed race bars...and unless you SPECIFICALLY purchased the 25mm rear bar, the Nuespeed setup you have now will create MORE understeer (due to the heavier front bar). The heavy duty front bar was to offset the massive rear bar that no other manufacturer produces and installing the regular Neuspeed rear bar would be wasteful since the stock TLS rear bar is already 19mm. Keep in mind, the regular bar was meant for 6th gen accords. I believe the 4 cylinder accord only had 15mm on it.

So...If I were you...I'd return both bars and go for a more neutral setup, like the Eibachs.

FYI...to make you feel better with your decision...if I didn't have the neuspeed race sways...I'd have the Eibachs myself. Oh...and save yourself some headaches and take Tyman's advice. I too learned the hard way.

Thanks guys for the info and advice. I think I'm going to look into getting the Eibach or Comptech bars and possibly send back the Neuspeeds...unless someone out here wants the set for a good deal.

Thanks again!

I been poking around, is there any place where you can buy just the comptech rear?

Thanks
