Cool New Car Shine!!

I just used Mother's 3-Phase Ultimate Wax System:

Phase 1 - Pre-Wax Cleaner
Phase 2 - Sealer and Glaze
Phase 3 - Pure Carnauba Wax

Man, I really like this system. My TL is a 1999 and it looks brand new! I plan on putting another coat of Mother's Reflections Premium Polish on this weekend if the weather cooperates! If I do I will take some pics and post them!

Any others have experiences with Mother's?

I think the Mother's System does a very good job. Only one problem though..........time. It takes me a whole day.

How long did it take you to wash and wax your car?

Ok, I am going to tell you guys one last time. Use KLASSE, you will not be disappointed. It is hard to find, just go to any highend detail shops or BMW/Mercedes/Porsche dealers and they should have them.

Does anyone have suggestions for polishing / waxing black paint. I have 3k miles, so I'm about to put on the first application for winter.

I'm concerned about swirling the paint. Any suggestions? On my previous car, I was using Xymol. Easy app, soft finish and great shine.

Acura-TL, I think you have a Silver TL if I'm not mistaken. I am curious about the Klasse and or Maguiers (..spelling).

Suggestions???? Also, let me know what NOT to use.

Klasse is made in Germany. Even Jet uses them to improve aerodynamic, don't know why that's true. It is a cleaner/wax/polish but does not contain any slicon. Even if you accidentally put some on rubber parts, it won't stay on it like regular wax. You can actually polish glass and chrome with it too.

My garage is full of Meguiar, Mothers, you name it. When I got the Klasse, I never used those stuff again. I used to enter in IASCA stereo shows and I always get compliment on the shine of my car.

I used liquid glass and was quite pleased with the results.

Do you think I could use this KLASSE SEALANT GLAZE over the Mother's 3-Phase system I have already used to get an extra "wet look"?

Thumbs up

Ceriman, I have a silver TL and I have been using the Mothers stuff and they do a great job. It is time consuming but the trick is to invest $30 in a buffer. Cuts your time in half. As for the black car, my wife has a black Prelude and the only wax that I have used to keep from getting the swirls is the Mothers wax, and the sealer glaze combo with the buffer!! the buffer is the key. Good luck.

Hey TITAN-why are you thinking of switching to Mugan exhaust? What don't you like about the Comptech?

jhalderman- I like the Comptech's, but I am 34 with a family and use my car for business. The Comptech's are just a little too loud for my taste.
