Hope on aboard, and one of the first few things you can do is the 02-03 taillight which is nice and ez and cheap. Spoiler/bodykit would be some other suggestions and the 02-03 TL-Type Rims or 00-01 CL-Type S rims would be cool too. Maybe you can drop some headers in there too and there is also a black market here and official vendors that can assit you in buying what you want and what you need.

Those tail lights, IF you get the Acura OEM ones are gona set you back $300. That price includes the housings and all the bulbs for the tail light and harnesses. You can order them from this guy who sells them for $300. He's in buffalo i believe and works at an actual acrua or honda dealer. If you do a search for my username (dvsxlt247) for threads that ive started, you can go into my thread or threads about me getting the 02-03 tail light conversion and read everything in there. Im sure that in that thread all the info of where i had gotten mine is in there somewhere. The black market section is on this forum. If you go to the list of different generations of TL's, you'll see below all those where it says Black Market. Go in there and select Sponsored Sales and Group buys. Thats where you will find the vendors and what not that sell nuthin but parts to us on here.

Click TL at the top then click Acura TL Forum List then go down to The Black Market.

Sponsored sales are from the vendors which are highly trusted.

Use caution on the Private Sales. My .

EDIT: There are many reputible people on this site (in and black market), but I have heard of people getting ripped on there so just be careful.

yoo! Welcome, if you want tail lights, go to EBAY.com put in DEPO TL Lights, and get the 02-03 ones ( red/white ), there like $150. Thats all you need.

Welcome You have found a group of Acura nuts where you should fit right in

You can go to the top of any page and on the right side it says Off Topic
click that and scroll down to where you see The Black Market
Sponsored Sales/Group Buys

Those vendors are all approved by acurazine and pay fees to maintain this website for our use.
A complete list of vendors/products sold is in the first post there from Ron A - our super moderator

Private Sales are just that and there is a feedback area for those sellers too

Vendors for coilovers and other trick parts are Excellerate and MrHeelToe
look at their post in sponsored sales

A UR (Unorthodox Racing) lightweight underdrive crank pulley at $180+$60 install will
allow faster revs and "frees up" about 8-12 HP already in the engine

K&N air filter in the stock airbox is good too
NGK Iridium Spark PLugs
Seafoam engine treatment (see thread Seafoamed the ol TL)

Have fun!

And then think about upgrading the brakes. You will quickly see how that will be a good idea!

Forgot to tell the new member the most important thing!

Find your 5 digit radio code and register your car at www.acura.com
ownership experience link
Read the trans problem symptoms there and on the is forum

When you disconnect the battery to do the CAI or anything else- the radio wont work until you enter the code. Anti theft device
MAY be written on biz card in owner manual or check inside fuse box cover under hood or on inside of glovebox door -again 5 digit number
You can store them in a free private account at acura.com

Ac-right, congrats. You're bought yourself a money pit. For some strange reason, although you will go broke, you'll still manage to get money for another mod. lol

Some of the best advice, especially for a 2nd or 3rd owner, ect. I'm getting CAI and will need to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery. Very glad that I have my radio code stored there and on the warranty card as well.

Just my I wouldn't go with 20's. They look way too big on a 2nd Gen.

2 recalls?

What exactly does it say.
MOST- not all- say Oil jet RECALL=Fixed
and transmission extended warranty -Open

There are some other ones as well- varies by year and your VIN

Go see MrHeelToe before you do much else to your car, he is ~the man~ near LA
for Honda and Acura suspension, go fast and stop fast parts

That means your all set. No worries. I believe the tranny warranty is 109k or 7years, whichever comes first. There's been people who've got their trannies replaced (for free) even after that mileage though. That's what the "open" part of it means.
