Need some light help

Ok My 2001 TL blow out a low beam light and i went to replace it but found out it was a D2R light which the store did not have. So here is my question I live in a rural area and like my lights to be bright and good for seening the deer out infront of me so i do not damage my TL. I do not want them so bright i get pulled over. I have seen alot of different kinds of lights such as 6k through 12k lights what is the difference and what would work best?

Thank you for your help

stay ONLY between 4300k and 5000k for the brightest light possible...u could go 6000k which is still good but has more of a hint of blue to it...i have 5000k Phillips and they seem brighter than 4300K...you can check with our vendor excelerate he has the kaixen's which i have heard are really good...109 shipped for the pair is a good price for new bulbs...

Thank you for your response.
I talked to the Acura dealer and they said it is usually not just the bulb that burns out but to bring it in and get it tested.
When replaceing the bulbs do you have to replace the Ballast or igniter at the same time?

Again
Thank you

Best way to find out if its the bulb is to swap the bulb from the working side to the non working side. If it works you know its just the bulb. Contact one of our vendors like Excelerate to get good quality replacement bulbs. Also not you should Always replace them in pairs.

You do not need to replace the ballasts & igniters when replacing a bulb.

hey man make sure u double check the bulb and the OEM harnest and the wire. I had problem like that too, and aperantly the balaster's wire was mesting the bulb. IONO how the fuck that hapened, but just double check by turning on the lights and look for smoke or burning plastic smell. (just in case)
I got 8k bulbs and their slightly blue, I got the same in my fog lights, and I have never been pulled over. go iether 6 or 8k
