Go for the second one. But if you have the cash, why not go for the BSDs? They are the most kickass Lowenharts! Though I heard they were going out of production (all the more reason to get them!). Or go for the Ld1s. BSDs are my dream wheel!

What do you think about these? They are called Agle Minervas and are made by SSR so you know they are very light weight and high quality.

BSDs are first on my wish list, then the Minervas, then the Altstadt IV Legarts, which I have.

Uh oh! You set me off on another scavenger hunt! That Minerva looks good! I really don't care for the BSD though. Think it would look good on an Escalade or Tahoe, but not the TL. Thanks for the input Nate. Lemme see what I come up with.

BTW, who carries that wheel online?

Yeah, I was originally gonna go with silver, but on a darker car I think chrome looks better. If I had a light color (SSM, WDP, Laguna Green, etc.) I'd go with silver. But the OEM's are silver and they just don't stand out enough against the DEP, especially at night.

In that case I'll stick with the Lowenhart. That's gonna put a big enough dent in the checkbook!

The Minervas run about $700-$750 chromed for 19x8.0s I believe... with shipping they are still going to be less than the Lowenharts.

Looks pretty, weighs more? Huh? Chrome has nothing to do with weight. My 19x8.0s weigh 25.125 lbs.

Hey Nate, do you know if they make the Minervas in 18x7.5? And if so how much do they run for? Or should I say, how much can they jack me for?

Thanks for the opinion. But I'm kinda set on the BR5. The pic on the Benz did it for me!

Talk to jimster716 at info@tribalPacific.com. He's gotten me the best deal so far. Four chrome 18x7.5 with Toyo T1-S 225/40/18 with mount, balance, lugs, shipping for under $3900. Sell the TL-S rims and your down to under $3000 .

Yeah they make them in all sizes and offsets from 17x7.0 to 19x12.0. Look here for specs. 18x7.5 +47 is 68,000 yen or about $550. Wow, the exchange rate is really good for getting these rims! Of course that is for silver, super metal coat (chrome) is going to be more. Plus shipping. But why go 18s when 19x8.0 +49 is $660 (silver)!

I love these rims!

I'm pretty sure those are 20"s and I don't think you'll be able to have so much lip... hehe, I really would love to see Minervas on a TL! I will give it to the BR5s though, they are sick.

Yeah, I know I won't have that much lip. But I still think they'll look tight on the TL. 20's ..... naahh! Those are smaller. Your wheels look bigger Nate!
