Hi I just bought a 2003 Acura TL Type S. My driver side front window has not worked since I bought it.

I first tried putting power to the prongs that make the motor go up and down, and it worked, the window went up and down. So I then ordered a master window switch and it still didn't work. I then ordered the window module and the window still does not work when pressing on that window button.

I looked for snagged or loose wires and could find nothing wrong. I pulled the window fuse under the hood, and that stops all the windows from working and when plugged back in, they all work but the front driver.

What could cause this problem, does the computer need to be reset or something of that nature?

Any help would be great thanks.

 

Is the window lock thing locked? I don't remember if it has an affect or not just something to look at.

 

Are you talking about the window lock button, if so that would effect all the windows not one.

 

find the wiring schematic, and check to see if the switch is getting input power, and if it is sending output power on the appropriate wire when the switch is pushed up/down

 

Where do I find a wiring schematic?
