Need a AEM CAI pic....im stuck installing

Question Need a AEM CAI pic....im stuck installing

im stucking installing the AEM CAI particarly on the second half of the tubing... i cant get the bypass vavle on right and which way the second tubing is facing where where to connect it to?? PLEASE HELp...

If you notice I do no have the bypas vlave but it goes right where the pipes connect...i think it replaces the rubber gasket

where does the bar that comes off of the lower pipe attach to?

There are already drilled points...check this for install instructions. I used it so I know its good

Dude the bracket on the lower piece gave me so much problems I couldnt figure it out... I think the bypass valve messed that up for me, im gonna figure it out today when I clean my CAI...Ive been using mine for about 5 months now, and I havent had the lower part connected...By tha way, tha bypass valve will break so watch out!!!Shyne

I believe you must cut on of the pipes to get them to fit with the by-pass valve. I couldn't get it installed without cutting. Note that I decided to just run SRI for the meantime.

i also have a question on installing the CAI. there is 2 lil hoses that was connect to the old air box that has fluid in it. what do i do with ?? do i run it back into the engine?? And shyne, did you just leave the second tube hanging without connecting it?? i couldnt figure out how it goes in also.

i just connected the tubes to the CAI and it works fine

Connect 'em together instead of them going into the stock air box. 99s run coolant to warm the air in extremely cold temperatures I believe.
