Navigation Installation

I need help from anyone in the know, especially anyone who has converted their non navi to factory navigation. What I need to know is does the climate control for a navi car plug in and mount right up then work fine, or is there some major wiring and bracket making that must be done. I am also looking for that climate control unit from a navi car and also the big piece that goes around the gauges and the screen. Also if anyone knows the factory part numbers or can help me get these I would really appreciate it! Thank you...

www.acuraautomotiveparts.org for all your parts needs.

AC unit plugs right in. It uses the plug that the non-navi AC unit uses. Keep in mind, installing navi in a non-navi car is a major undertaking, I cannot stress this enough. If you do not have the entire wiring harness it's gonna be extremely extremely difficult.

HAS ANYONE DONE THIS? I have a 2000TL-P none-navi, and i have found a navi system. The navi has wires for the "navigation system" hard drive not for the screen.

I've done the conversion from non-nav to OEM nav. It was definitely worth it for me. Do a search for Navi conversion and you should find a thread with a DIY in it. There are also tons of questions and answers there. Another great place for parts is ebay. I can't link to ebay in this forum but do a search in ebay motors for parts and accessories and you will come up with a few matches. You definitely wanna buy something that has the harness with it though, then just add the wires on from there.
