Has anyone experienced a problem where the electricity just shuts down while driving? Yesterday while I was driving, my 2000 TL was acting funny. I was listening to music while driving and all the sudden it lost the power and turned back on. I noticed it was not just my radio but every electonic devices (Nav, gauge, etc) were turned off & turned back on. It's blink of second that the car didn't seems like it was shutting off on me. But it was keep doing that until I got home.
Anybody had similar experience before?

 

Hum thats strange. possibly a bad ignition switch?

 

Are your battery terminals tight and clean?

 

Or it could just be the battery going on it's way out.

 

 

Yup battery terminals. I had a similar problem where I turned the key to ACC/On and everything was fine. When I cranked, the relays would click on and off, but no cranking. After jiggling around the battery terminals, I figured out that some junk had seeped between the battery terminal and the terminal ring. Cleaned it and it's fine.
