Navi question...please help!

Once you've started a trip that the Navi has calculated, what is the easiest way to cancel the trip and go back to the current positioning map screen????

I can't figure out the easy way to do this, and I need help!!!!!

This is the method I use. Just press "Menu" then "Plan New Trip" then "Cancel"

Hmm, I didn't know about that one. Usually I just plan a new trip and then cancel like pianoman41 does. I'll try that tonite.

Tried this tonight. Much quicker and easier than my old method (menu, plan new trip, cancel). Thanks rizwan789

Well, that might have some interesting results if you happen to be driving at the time

This information is one of the most valuable things I've read in my eight months on this site. MUCH APPRECIATED! Now, if I could just get the Navi to show me where the cops are located, I'd be all set!!

The easiest way is to stop the car...recline the driver's seat...unlock the trunk...get out of the car...walk all the way around the car...and get back in!! It'll be cleared!! Try it!! Trust me on this one...SERIOUSLY! Oh, but don't forget to say the magic words...

I stand corrected The easiest way is to stop the car.. get out of the car open the trunk..open the cover for the dvd player ..close it back up and get back in the car. This has to be the easiest way.

Nope. Easiest way yet is to just sell the car and get a new one!! That way the navi is always fresh and ready to go and doesn't have any of those annoying "previous destinations" in it...
