you should have got a ID card with all the info on it. But if you didn't i think you have to go to the dealer.

The ID card also has the Radio pin. It is a plastic card (like a thinner creddit car). It is white and it says Acura in blue letters. There are three stickers on the card (2 for the pin numbers and one for the VIN).

Mine was in the leather case with the vehicle manuals. Now this is a stupid place to keep the card. All a car thief (or Navi thief) has to do is get in your glove box and take the card with the pin number.

If you have the Anti-Theft Code for the NAVI system, it acts as a reset.

When prompted for the PIN, enter your Anti-Theft number. The system will then ask for a new PIN.

Is the anti-theft code the same for all navi's? I have the same problem. I purchased a DVD navi to replace the hard-drive one and need to reset the pin so that I can use it... any help would be appreciated... Drazz

The code is different for every car. The only way to get your pin code is have that plastic card with your radio/navi code on it. If you don't have that card, then the only way to retrieve your code is through Acura. They charged me $65 to get my radio code...and I'm thinking it will be somewhere around that price to get your navi code. Such a big-rip off, but that's the only other way I know.

Guys, he's not talking about the anti-theft code. He's talking about the PIN for personal addresses. You can have two users storing addresses - and they're address listings are locked by their PIN.

Yes, you can change it. It's Setup -> Others -> Personal PIN

My take on the problem is that he doesn't know the current personal pin #, which is needed to create a new one. Someone above had mentioned that you can use the anti-theft code to reset the personal pin #. Is that correct?
