Angry My TL was hit

Some a-hole didn't learn how to park right I don't know when it happened, but it could have been last night. I only found out tonight when I walked by the passenger side, then found this!

The a-hole hit my car pretty hard while he was parking I assume. He punctured a crack on my bumper about 1" long Luckily I checked the edges of the bumper, looks like the rest of it still align wells with the fenders so the mounted points are unharmed. But that hit must have been pretty hard to puncture my bumper like that. Argh I don't know if I should fix that or not. Since my car is NBP once I touched it up with touch-up paint it is not very visible. Maybe I should have wished he hit me harder so it'd give me an excuse to get the Value sport bumper

Tatewaki,

BRUTAL! That's why I am *always* scared to drive my car in T.O. Always wondering if some a-hole will hit my car, especially in places like Pacific Mall ... ouch!

Don't know what to suggest. Just keep it for now (it's winter). It's plastic so no worries about rust (just bad looks). If I were you, I would go for the Value kit!!! (since you were thinking about a body kit ...)

Yeah,

I know how that is. on my old infiniti, some friggin a-hole backed into my car with his truck in a shopping centre, and left without doing anything.... pissed me off. Anyways, since i didn't do any mods to the infiniti, i just replaced the bumper. luckily the insurance didn't go up any.

when it gets really cold out the plastic bumpers become very brittle and dont have as much give so even a light hitt will do more damage during extreme cold temps outside....the other day i was driving to work down this straight away and i usally do about 60.....it was 530am and there was not much light out.....well i was goin about 45 or so and i see milk crates scattered all over the road .......it was like a mine field .... they were dark grey and i couldnt see them till i came rite up on them .......holy crap .....you wouldnt belive the damage it caused.....broken fog light....160 dollars... new bumper over 1000... and then theres labor.....Gezzz us. I was lucky i was bringing in the car for a new bumper anyway because some lady hitt my car at the dealer a few weeks b4 ....so i only had to pay for the fog light. But that could have turned into a huge out of pocket expense .

Damn Steven, sorry to hear about that. Yea just leave it alone for now since it is the winter. God forbid you fix it up and then get hit again.

Hey Bailey, you got some bad luck lately. Hope the new year brings you better luck.
