until March,but we place our order back in Sep,2000.Is that a S-430 or what.

What is that an S-5? I think the CL600 (or the CLK55 for speed) is much sweater, but its a coupe. If you want a sedan, look into the AMG S55 or the slightly faster E55. They are all beautiful cars though.

My uncle got an S55 AMG, the car is sweet as anything. He's a funny guy though, when his son asked for a car for his birthday, my Uncle "gifted him" with a base Corolla. Talk about getting shafted...

Screww the german POS, stick with your T, its beautiful and it you could ask for a better lookin car than yours already is. Cant belikeve hopw awesome it looks everytime u post. I want a GS430 next or the tl-s but who knows, thats we will se waht lifes cards deal .

what exactly do you guys see in mercades. personally, the arrogance inherant with those cars is already stupid. the car is not worth the money, it guzzles gas, takes up more space and is simple a perfect "human" car for taking up all that it does not really need. Ask the questions to yourselfs, why would someone really want that car? I don't need a silver lining to feel good about myself like society would have you feel. getting the most for your money, no matter how much you have, is still the most respectable approach, IMO.

besides, cl55 is much sweeter...

i hear you ..........kinda, a mercedes is the ultimate status symbol and ultimate dis-investing, the car can also come with alot of misunderstanding and backlash, especially when you opt for one of the land yacht S models above,.........howeve you gotta give credit where credit is due, there would be no Lexus, Infiniti, or Acura for that matter if it were not for the decades of groundwork layed by this automobile and its to me near flawless report card when it comes to value, detail, and lets face it, luxury car=prestige....BMW is luxury sport
..............and no car speaks it like a Mercedes........have you driven one????.....they are beautiful rides, whose engines are nearly bomb proof........my father had a 1980 500sel with 298k on the odometer befored he layed it to rest back in 99 for a bloated S-420, the old car still ran like a dream, and was actually what i drove to school on a daily basis back in higschool......it was huge but , it was a good car.........a mercedes will be my lst car

I think the car is beautiful, however I would opt for the CL55 though. As for modding a Mercedes, it's the same concept of why we mod our TLs. We want to be different and standout. The whole reason why a person even buys a mercedes. In the future I am definitely buying a M. I will never give up the infatuation of modding my cars, which includes precision stereo modifications.

Considering that the new S-class is like the most advanced car out in Germany, you guys are saying bad things about it. I think that car is nice, even though the chrome AMG wheels look nicer to me. If you don't like that car for the looks, that's one thing, but piece of shit? I doubt that. How can you throw reck on a Benz? It's soo much money a for a reason. It's one of the safest cars you can buy and it'll last you a lifetime. Just from opening the doors you can feel how solid the car is.

I can't believe there is so much Benz haters, it's not like it's in the same class as the TL!!!! personally I love MB's.... there great cars, maybe high in price but it still a killer car.
It's still good to read different points of views on how we all feel about different cars.
BTW stock is for conservative people(it's not a bad thing) but I am definitely not conservative! if I could run 20"s on my TL, I would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Tanner Im right behind you on them 20's. Friend of mine with a 2001 TL has 20's on order. He is going to try to fit 245's. Dam only if they made a 235... Just going to have to wait I guess!
