My New Ride

Picked up my new TL-S last Thursday. NBP w/ parchment and factory spoiler. All I can say is that I've been a very happy camper ever since
) Within the first four days I had already put 640 miles on it.
I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for posting their pricing info. Too many dealers in the PA/NJ/MD area were looking to get near MSRP. This forum gave me the assurance to wait things out until I got a good deal (I was fortunate to have my brother do almost all the negotiating for me).
I'm happy to report that I got 28 mpg on the first tank (85% highway driving) using premium. One thing that I've noticed though - when I first start the car (initially with A/C off, outside temps. in high 80's), and then go to turn on the A/C, I can hear a single small clunking noise just as I hit the A/C button. I'm assuming it's the compressor kicking in. Is it supposed to be that noticeable? Anyone else experience this?

Congrats! Another happy TLS owner. As for the A/C clunking noise, it is normal. As long as doesn't make a constant noise you should be ok.

2.04 has the same coverage area as 2.03, at least in MA anyway. I have both discs so I know. I believe the 2.04 version was released to address a glitch for the MDX, but I'm not 100% positive. I imagine 3.0 is the one we're all waiting for.

My TL-S was built in 4/01 and yet the nav version that it came with is 2.04. This is definately not the big update we're all hearing about. I heard the new one is due out in the fall.
