That's why I was afraid to buy this car, can't ever have anything nice without someone messing with it. Well I went to pop the trunk and noticed my "A" logo has been peeled off. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Tried autozone already.

 

you can call ur local acura dealership, but I would just take the acura letters off and the TL letters as well. Just have the acura emblem on there.

 

its like $15 just go down to the local dealer and pick it up.

 

i got new ones off some site i found from google, coulda been worse, they could of took the letters and the 3.2. TL emblems too

 

lol, i got one but its painted in ssm.

I'm just pissed that someone peeled it off even if it may only be $15. Who knows, they might even do it again.

i saw some riced out civic with a A badge the other day. i pulled up next to him and said "that must be a new model, never seen an acura like that before."
he got mad and revved his 1.6 liters of fury bellowing out a nice fart note. so stupid what people think is acceptable nowadays

my front, dont have a pic of the rear but its debadged ant the (A) is replaced with an (H)

theres this pretty clean last gen civic that lives across the street from me. tinted, dropped, nice system, but a bit of a ricer exhaust prob some other mods...

i looked a little closer at his car one day and low and behold i saw an acura logo on it... needless to say ive never spoken to the kid...

 

I had that happen to me (re: stolen "A" badge in 2001 when Acura 'updated' the trunk logo).

All you can do is just buy a replacement ... should be no more than $25 from your dealership. If so, then order online from places like acuraoemparts.com or other online places.

 

$5 at a junk yard, they might even give it to you for free. all u need is a hard plastic spatula.

 

It looks like there's some glue involved? Or does it just look like that because it's been there for so long (7 years) or the "vandals" didn't remove it cleanly?

 

^^^ YES SIR...thats like double sided tape i beleive...u can remove that pretty easy..look for the DIY on removing the rear badges and that should help u remove the left over gunk from the old badge..

 

its held on with tape, take some goo gone and start rubbing, then get some 3m double sided tape and put it on the emblem and then take the whole thing and put it on the car.

Look at it as a blank canvas. Now instead of being limited to acura your could have like a freakin BMW 3.2tl! Ballin.

I once saw a Nissan Altima with a BMW badge instead of nissan and AMG on the side. LOL, what people do these days.
I have a proximity radar sensor on my Acura so you cant even go near it without it chirping

 

I don't see why I would have anything other than what came with the car....especially a logo.

But then again, I don't "mod"...I'm strictly stock except for when I'm going to mess with the sounds....how lame huh?

no, just get #4, #8 is still attached to your car, its those white plugs

 

haha its also funny how the turn the A badge upside down making it look like a V on their riced out civics as well..also have you ever seen those ricers with them mad high spoilers?? lol
