so basically, my dome light hasnt been workin for like 2 weeks now, and i was wondering y, like before, every once in a while it would flicker, but now it just stopped, so i opened it up to see what was going on and the plastic was melted , it wont turn on at all, and i know its my fault because of the led festoon i was using, because i looked at the wattage today and it was really high on the bulb, but only like 7 on the car, anywayz, basically what im asking is, how should i fix it, do i have to order a new part? thanks in advance guys !

 

if its melted but still works safely then leave in, if it looks like it may start a fire or something just change....

 

What plastic melted? The plastic where the bulb is held or the plastic cover?
You need to get some new bulbs and put them in.

thanks bro, but i noticed all of his parts were black, but i sent him a message anywayz, but i looked on ebay and i found the part for 10 plus 10 shipping, im wonderin how much a new one will be though? anywayz thank you for the help everyone if u still have suggestions, please holla at me!
