So at first I thought it was the Woofer -- cuz when any HIGH bass songs (or songs with a lot of low reverberating constant bass...) played I got this Squeaky/Squeal thing....

It's more prevalent when the sunroof is in TILT/VENT position as opposed to closed or fully open.

It also squeaked the other day when I went through the car wash with everything closed (obviously :p) and the radio OFF. when the dryers came on and were near the rear i heard it like crazy........ is it really the woofer/woofer area? or is it something to do with the sunroof -- is it the famed sunroof rattle? I ruled that out at first cuz everyone says rattle and not squeak....

Its your sun roof! Close your sun shade and see if you hear the noise less. I have to get mine adjusted also, only 6K on my car!

 

You wash your TL in a car wash?

 

Its prob the sunroof because I had a rattle noise come in from there. Go to the dealer, should fix it under warranty.

I used to go to VIP Touchless Auto Wash here in Kansas City. A year ago they suddenly changed their machine to "touchful" (bristle brushes and hanging mops) without changing their signage!. So VIP "Touchless" Auto Wash isn't "Touchless" any more. I nearly freaked when I saw my (then) Accord go into that horrible machine. I never did go there again.

 

So how exactly do they dry your car in that touchless car wash??? They wouldnt be using the dirt encrusted towels on your car that they just used to dry down the dozens of cars before you would they??

 

Car washes aren't worth it, they damage your car(sometimes), they cost money, and they don't even clean the car all that well(they miss spots). Which is why I was my baby with my own 2 hands, so that I can insure it gets clean
