Unhappy My A/C went to 21 again

I dont know why its doing it but yesterday had the A/C on 60 full auto for a bit . the all the sudden it goes to 21. I started to press button but nothing happend then I moved the hot to cold nob and it changed back to normal.

should I take it to the dealer?

"Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?"

Read something about this some time ago except theirs went to 20, not 21. Apparently Acura is aware of the problem and there might even be a Service Bulletin on it. I can't find the thread right now, but from what I remember the fix was to replace the A/C control panel. I believe others have had it fixed under warranty.

Good luck and let us know.

What's the difference? The A/C still works, just as cold as it should, right? If so, why bother? Just my $.02

The answer to why it happens is simple my friend. This is the SAME part that is used in Japan for the Inspire/Saber which uses Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Only the outer faceplate is different because it bends the other way (right hand drive). Thus Honda saves money. You probably have a wire that is making contact with a pin that matches the Saber wiring scheme. So it switches to their temp figures or there may be an internal short. Now finding it may be too hard so they will probably change it or check the harness. Hope this helped

It needs a new control head- your dealer should have info on this warranty repair.
