My "BRAKE LAMP" Light is on...

What does that mean when your Brake Lamp light is on? I checked on the brake lights, but they all work fine. Anybody know what's wrong?

This means that one or several of your brake lights is burned out. Note that some of the bulbs have a dual filament and so it may appear to work when the lights are turned on but the second filament may not light up when the brake pedal is depressed. Therefore you might want to have someone check the lights while you step on the brake pedal if you have not tried this yet.

yeah, that was already checked. all of them work fine. when the lights are on, it's all lit. when lights are on and stepping on brakes, they are all light. no problem at all. I turned off the engine, and it still came back on.

Just out of curiosity, is the center brakelight also working when you do this perform your check?

I agree. Check check and double check. One of them has to be bad. MAybe pull them out and check them 1 by one just to make sure

I just learned to live with it.

Have you checked the level of the brake fluid yet?
That should set off the sensor too

AHHHH I see dreem1er

As I have full fresh brake fluid and when I saw one taillight bulb was out while setting the alarm, I replaced all the bulbs so there would be no surprises
Therefore- I do not know what any of the warning lights look like-except low fuel!
Sorry if I mis-informed anyone
