Got my BEL 915R Remote install Radar in over the weekend. Totally hidden. It's work great. I mounted the laser sensor inside the high brake light next to the subwoofer, so it it totally invisible. The other antenna is inside the bumper and infront of the rear view mirror. The control panel is inside the coin holder.

I got my headphone installed for the 2 real monitor too. Now rear passenger can listen to their own audio ..... It's so cool.

Will post pics as soon as i have a chance to pull my digital camera out of the bag

I am so close to buying this detector. Question for you, what is the big box that comes with the detector for?



It looks like the little ones are for laser, is the big one for X, K, and Ka detection?

Is that what you mounted in your front bumper?

 

That big box is the X,K,KA antenna. that mount in front of the car with the arrow point toward incoming traffic. Yep I put it behind the bumper It can be hide behind plastic but not metal. You are right about the 2 small pieces are laser sensor. the one with longer cord is for the rear and a shorter one is for the front.

 

How much does the unit run for?

and what is the charge for a professional install?

I got mine for $200 .... Autotoys sell for about 275 ... other can go over 300.

I did it myself so i don't know the cost. But i figure it might cost might cost about 100 for install.
