i have my mugen eyelids and im ready to put them on the car i see it come wit h double sided tape does anybody have the eyelids on their car and recommend using something else other than the tape is there some kind of glue or something to make it stick better?

imo those eyelids look bad unless they are molded into the hood yielding a boser style

the type s tails add 12 to the wheels like hansgovil said but they also attract more attention because people see a 2000 TL wit type s tails and are like WTF

MUGEN Eyelids?????????????? Hmmmmm.... Didnt know Mugen made Eyelid... Did Mugen merged with APC, since the conviction of the owner?...

I just installed mine a few days ago. IMO they look good. They go well with my blackout headlights. I'll post some pics later

Make sure you use thicker 3m tape, not sure if 3m primer will help but ut did with my aluminum dash. After it's painted, be careful not to bend it too much...the paint might crack a bit.That's what happened to me. It definitely would look better if it was molded! I think it's okay IMO....whats done is done!!!

yea it would look better molded but i think im going to just use the 3m tape for now......thanks for the info



i am blacking out my headlights too before i put them on....i would love to see pics of how it looks on your car especially.....BTW my car is laguna green metallic do u think it would look good with blacked out headlights and eyelids??

If your mugen like eyelids are fiberglass, you will definitely need more than 3m tape. Mine are fiberglass and it was a pain to make it stick where the blinker is. Also, careful with the paint job. Fiberglass tends to be somewhat poress. Thats from my experience! Had to make shop repaint.

The paint/body shop where I got it painted installed it for me. I think he used some liquid enhancer...I guess kind of like crazy glue. Be careful when installing, try not to bent it too much b/c the paint will crack a bit. Use thicker 3m tape

alright thanks for your helpful information it will be a little while before i put them on because i wanna black out my headlights first so once i do all of that ill post up pictures
