Bumpy Ride?

Was just driving through the DC city streets today and man my car was jumping around like crazy. I also noticed this on other bumpy roads. Is this a problem with the struts? Do you think bad rotors can cause this rough ride? My ride seems rough even on smooth roads.

Check your tire pressure when their cold. If it's up around 38-40lbs. it could do this. The struts are probably fine unless you have a zillion miles on them or the car was in a front end wreck. You may want to have the allignment and tire balance checked too. As a DIY you could swap the front tires for the back ones and see if it feels different.

Also, if your not used to V, W or Z rated tires it could feel rough. The side walls are pretty stiff on the Michelins especially.

Yea like tom said, get allignment and tire balance done, that may help a little bit and i dont think it would be the struts, unless they blew out somehow or something.
