Are the motor mounts broken?
I can't tell but think they are....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaKtKgM22f0
I had the side one replaced a year ago when they did the water pump. They called and said it was broken but didnt say anything about the front or the rear.
If they are broken, I would probably go OEM... where is the best place to get the replacement parts #6 and #34 (as per acuraautomotiveparts.org)
Thanks.

Oh gawd, I was watching the video thinking "nah, he's probably just exaggerating." Then you revved. They are TRASHED. There's no way the engine isn't hitting the hood when you floor it.
I wouldn't go OEM. They are going to break again sooner or later. Plus, they are expensive. The new XLR8 mounts are out now, and they have a lifetime warranty. The tester has stated that the mounts suffer from no vibration issues or anything like that. They also come in different strengths.
62A: For street use.
75A: For a mix between street and track.
90A: For ONLY track use. (Will vibrate)
I'd choose between 62A and 75A

Try www.hondapartsunlimited.com, it's actually a dealership but I forgot the name of it. I got all 3 mounts for a great price. Those mounts are definitely gone, I would go ahead a replace all 3.

There are cheap aftermarket options that are not a good idea. Then, Innovate mounts were produced, but they had serious vibration problems. The OEM ones are fine, but they don't last very long.
The XLR8 mounts don't have any problems, and are better than OEM mounts. The problem has been that the mounts have been in development for SOOOO long. Finally, just this week, the first batch has gone out. Soon, there will be customer reviews, and the mounts will be in in full production.

How long do you think they'll last? meaning OEM... I used to drive hard with it back in 03 to 05 but since then I think its has been a lot better. No clue when the front busted because there is no more fluid leaking.

What does the Vac Boost do anyway?? Im guessing they are for Comfort? Low Stifness for Better Ride, Stiffer for Accelerating??? Something like That?... I really Dunno but checking the video makes me really think that I need some New Mounts hehehe..
If the lowest XLR8 Mount stiffness gives me better ride comfort Im in! 400 bucks? that is for all 3 mounts or just 1? Cuz they are 3 mounts in the Pics but they dont clarify how many mount is for the price.

what --that banging and slamming going on under the hood??? why would you notice that?
on gen2 the vac boost stiffens the mount under hard throttle, keeping it smoother at idle that way..like a 230 hp sewing machine

What's wrong w/ XLR8? They are a vendor on here. Lifetime warranty on the inserts sounds like a +. Just cap the vac. line to prevent a leak. Others had issues? http://store.excelerateperformance.c...s/g-60889.aspx

Im pretty tempted to get the XLR8 mounts myself. Im sick of blowing up mounts. Its either that or poly fill a new set of oem mounts

kris Is that mainly due to your more powerful engine and 6speed- or track day use, or general race driver licensed type abuse we imagine your car endures on a daily basis
my opinion would be: track day type people can use filled or poly mounts because they are willing to put up with the extra stiffness and vibaration transfer for the reduced failure rate
While average street drivers, mom/wife drives it a lot--want the smoothness of OE mounts
