Motor Mounts, Axles.. What Else??

So before i slam my car for the summer and throw my new wheel setup on... im taking care of some other problems that have been lingering.. i'm waiting on the XCLR8 motor mounts, and will replacing my axles in order to get rid of my vibration/shaking problem.. My question is, are there any other parts in the same region i should consider replacing while my mechanic is in there to save on labor and future headaches ?? almost as preventive maintenance... last thing i want to have to deal with is in the near future trying to get my car back on a lift to fix something i could have done now!! i already replaced the front wheel bearings about 7,000 miles back. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! also im at about 120,400 miles if it helps!

I'd check the tie rod ends too. Your mechanic should be able to check to see if anything may need to be replaced, like if there's play/movement.

While your there, check the right and left inner and outer LCA bushings. At 120K, that would be prudent.

He said it right there. He's waiting on the XLR8 mounts. The OEM ones don't last too long, even for stock applications. ~50k-80k

If your putting down some serious HP, you'd probably be changing them out pretty often. My car is basically stock, and I'm going to have to replace them for the second time now.

The XLR8 mounts are supposed to be able to take the beating, while still maintaining acceptable amount of vibration. Can't have the best of both worlds though.

With my experience being slammed all year round and at 205k+ miles, I have changed both cv axles due to the boot ripping. So maybe check into that just in case.

I dont see the front one: http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-411798.aspx
$300 for all 3 is really high though.

yea i got in early on the promo price for $260.. but paid back in feb..... my cars fully bolted minus a supercharger and i barely drive it (commute on train for work) so theyre def gonna be worth it..

thanks n1njai.. some info based on experience is def a help.. already planning on new axles, pretty sure mine are shot.. u have any problems with balljoints? or bushings, tie-rods, etc. ???

i planned on having him check over everything, but any parts that were known to take more abuse when slammed id rather just replace now while the other work is being done... appreciate all the info!! keep it coming!
