a quick solution for the rattling would be to use armor all on the rubber portion of the moonroof to get rid of the rattling

its not the rubber seal thats been taken carse of, the dealer tried 3 times and i have removed the headliner acouple times with no luck, right now i have a AA batterystuck between the headliner and the sliding cover just above my head and that seems to be working kinda getto but it works. i was thinking abot making my own headliner?

if u took out the moonroof and made your own headliner wouldn't u be taking away room? You ever look when u have the sunshade open u have like an extra inch or 2 up to the glass, but then when u close the cover u loose it. Just a thought

no cause where your head is is right where the headliner drops down for the sunshade. im betting on atleast 1 to 2 inches more head room

man that sounds pretty stupid to me..I think you will have a really hard time if you ever want to sell your car and your also talking about lots of money and time to do the body work, not to mention what to do about the headliner. If your 6'5" you should have taken headroom into account before buying the TL. Personally, I suggest you don't do it.

ive paid the car off, (108,000 miles now) i could do the body work in one day, it wouldnt be that hard. its not that i need the head room its just that it would be nice to have more. thanks for the opinions.
