i bought the NKG Laser Platinums bout a month ago and changed out my spark plugs myself (i think i overtightened them). then two weeks ago i seafoamed the TL, then about 3 days ago the engine light came on. i took it to the dealer and they told me that my cylinder 1 and 3 were misfiring they cleared it and it hasnt came on again.

i was wondering that can a sparkplug misfire becuz of overtightening? or do u think it could be from the seafoam and i have nothing to worry about?

 

I don't think seafoam will do that to your engine. Have you taken out the plugs and took a look at them? See anything weird on 1 and 3? vs the rest?

 

Check the gap, if you don't have a torque wrench then tighten to 1/4 turn past contact.
