what year did they change the design of the outside mirrors, was it 01 or 02? im sick of driving down the road with my windows open and having bugs forced inside the car and hitting me because of the design of the mirrors. the 2000 the mirror angles and forces the air AND bugs towards the window.

I believe it's '02. The redesign also reduced wind noises.

 

00 & 01 are almost identical except 01 has up-graded cup holder. 02 TL has different side mirrors.

 

ya they changed in '02, they got that more boxier shape and a blue tint on the mirror itself, i find them a bit 2 high and distracting at times...

 

plus, passenger side mirror tilts down when you put your gear in reverse.

 

are you saying that's bad? i love it...but i also live in a city where i parallel park everyday. it helps prevent curb rash

 

i just want the new mirrors so that my side windows and my self arent always getting splattered by bugs because of the stupid angle on mirror

 

I was at the dealership last night and I got this idea to do a mirror swap with the TSX... I think it would look awesome on a TL...

 

but the real question is how much work will it take to make tham fit?
